A change of season brings a fresh palette of colours, flavours, scents and experiences to travel retail. As airports and retailers embrace autumn, we’ve gathered some of the most engaging social media campaigns and posts celebrating the season across the industry.

Hellenic Duty Free Shops

Hellenic Duty Free Shops (Avolta) is inspiring autumn getaways with a spotlight on Zagorochoria, where traditional villages, mountain landscapes and historic stone bridges shape the region’s appeal.

The post highlights opportunities for hiking, rafting and exploring the Greek countryside, with duty-free shopping completing the travel message.

Aelia Duty Free Poland

Aelia Duty Free Poland (Lagardère Travel Retail) is tapping into the autumn travel season with a social media post showcasing five travel accessory sets and inviting followers to choose their favourite.

The post pairs seasonal travel inspiration with images illustrating autumn destinations, while selected travel accessories are available at discounts of up to -20% through the retailer’s online store.

Autumn fragrance discoveries are at the centre of Shilla Duty Free Jeju’s October shopping edit, which also features the reopening of bag brand Miyansol.

As autumn begins, Shinsegae Duty Free is bringing Korean cultural art into the urban landscape through ‘Annyeong on Hanji’.

Created by artist Hong Insook for the retailer’s K-Reflection project, the Hangul Day initiative features media façade displays at three locations across Seoul throughout October and November.
