SWITZERLAND. Zurich Airport retail and dining turnover reached CHF487.2 million (US$584 million) in the first nine months of 2026, a rise of +3.1% year-on-year.

Airside sales from January through September climbed by +7.8% with landside sales down -3.6% compared to the same period in 2025. However, the landside sales performance is due to store closures related to a programme of renovations that continues over the next 18 months.

That project was covered in detail in an on-location feature we published in late 2025; click here for more.
