La Prairie strengthens skincare portfolio with three-step Swiss Pristine collection

Glacial inspiration shapes the campaign’s visual identity, with icy-blue tones, reflective surfaces and fluid forms

Luxury skincare house La Prairie last month launched Swiss Pristine, a three-product collection centred on skin barrier care featuring a Serum, Essence and Cream.

The range combines minerals sourced from Switzerland’s Valais Alps with biotechnology-derived ingredients and La Prairie’s signature Exclusive Cellular Complex.

A key component is HyPower LP52, a patented ingredient developed through research involving La Prairie scientists and two Swiss universities, HES-SO and ETH Zurich.

The formulations also contain calcium, magnesium and potassium sourced from Swiss glacial minerals, micro-encapsulated in plant-derived liposomes.

La Prairie positions the collection around the impact of everyday skin stressors including pollution, lack of sleep and frequent travel.

The three-step routine begins with Swiss Pristine Essence, followed by the Serum and Cream. According to the brand, the products are designed to target fine lines, visible pores, redness and uneven skin tone.

The collection features lightweight textures and a subtle musky fragrance inspired by Swiss glaciers.

The glacier influence also extends to the packaging. Each bottle features an ‘Ice Crackled Lacquer’ finish, a decorative technique that creates individual crackle patterns inspired by the movement of glaciers over time. ✈
