Luxury beauty house Guerlain, part of LVMH Group, has unveiled Orchidée Impériale Gold Nobile, the newest addition to its prestige skincare offer.
It is now available in selected Guerlain stores in global travel retail.
Orchidée Gold Nobile was born out of a breakthrough in Quantum science with Guerlain applying its principles to skin biology. Quantum science is the study of the laws of physics in an infinitesimal scale with a focus on atoms and particles.
In partnership with Palacký University Olomouc in the Czech Republic, Guerlain set out to understand the link between quantum light emission at a cellular level and its impact on the skin’s youth.
Guerlain discovered that light emission changes with age and is therefore correlated with skin youth. Over time, 20-50% of skin cells lose their youthful parameters resulting in the appearance of visible signs of ageing.
The formula has been equipped with Gold Quantum Technology, which rejuvenates the skin on a quantum scale. The prestige collection comprises the Orchidée Gold Nobile Serum and Cream Concentrate.
The line is centred around the Gold Nobile Orchid (Dendrobium Nobile), which is known for its moisturising, toning, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.
The serum is made with 95% natural-origin ingredients and acts as a powerful light diffuser. It has a velvety creamy texture and is formulated with white micro-pearls and 24-carat gold particles that illuminate the complexion and boost skin radiance.
The cream concentrate is made of 94% natural-origin ingredients. It is enriched with a complex of 24-carat gold particles and a duo of mother-of-pearl extracts that multiplies the diffusion of light without adding excessive shine. The result is a glowing skin texture with a transparent and luminous finish.
Clinical studies show that the continued use of Orchidée Impériale Gold Nobile line amplifies skin smoothness, plumpness, firmness, elasticity and density, while reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It has also been shown to boost radiance, skin homogeneity, brightness, clarity and transparency while reducing dark spots.
Both products are housed in innovative aluminium dispensers that contain intelligent refillable mechanisms. These are crafted from 40% recycled glass and have recyclable drawn glass vials. The exterior is made with a brushed aluminium casing that is meant to be kept for years to come. ✈
