AUSTRALIA. Social enterprise Jigsaw is joining the exhibitor line-up for the upcoming Australian Airports Association (AAA) Retail & Commercial Forum to be held at the Pullman on the Park Hotel in Melbourne from 22-24 July.
Organised by a partnership between the AAA, The Mercurius Group and The Moodie Davitt Report, the Forum brings together all the key players in the airport non-aeronautical revenue sector. These include airports from Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, duty-free and speciality retailers, food & beverage operators, foreign exchange operators, advertising concessionaires, ground transport providers and various advisers and suppliers.
Jigsaw seeks to raise awareness about the barriers preventing the inclusion of Australians with disabilities in the workforce.
It trains, employs and transitions people with disabilities into mainstream employment, offering a unique solution for a variety of roles, including data, process-driven and administrative tasks.
Through Jigsaw Connect, Jigsaw supports employers in developing their capacity and confidence to employ people with disability, who benefit from secure, long-term employment with a supportive employer and increased financial inclusion, connection and sense of purpose.
As reported, the Forum is to feature a strong speaker line-up and major support from industry partners.
Centred around the theme ‘Growth through Understanding, Benchmarking and Analysis’, the three-day event will highlight a number of bespoke research studies undertaken for the Forum in the areas of retail, ground transport and tenant satisfaction.
Registration to attend the Forum is open via the AAA website. For the full programme, click on this link. ✈
