Absolut Ruby Red mixes it with Asia’s best – 09/05/06

SWEDEN. V&S Group is to exhibit its latest Absolut Vodka line extension, Absolut Ruby Red, at the TFWA Asia Pacific show in Singapore on the Maxxium Global Travel Retail stand next week (Stand number: HS23).

The new, grapefruit flavoured, premium vodka is available to consumers in Sweden and Poland in May and in the US and global travel retail channel in June 2006.

Commenting on the importance of the Asia Pacific region to the channel’s second best-selling brand, V&S Absolut Spirits Director Global Travel Retail Anders Olsson said: “Absolut Vodka is the second biggest brand in the global travel retail market and a high level of innovation is a crucial ingredient to fuel future success.

“Asia Pacific is a strategically important region for us and Maxxium Global Travel Retail works very professionally on our behalf, under the leadership of regional director Joel Lafon, to ensure maximum regional coverage.”

The Absolut Ruby Red bottle is frosted with an orange graphic pattern of stylised grapefruits. The minimalist, graphic pattern is designed to suggest the refreshingly crisp and sophisticated experience that Absolut Ruby Red offers, according to the company.

The product is available in 1.75 litre, 1 litre, 750ml and 50ml sizes and can be drunk neat, over ice, or in mixed drinks and cocktails.
