ASIA PACIFIC. Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific has welcomed five new Board Directors during the recent staging of its 16th Regional Assembly.
Joining the organisation’s Board are Nicolas Claude, Airport International Group, Jordan; Jerry Dann, Taoyuan International Airport Corporation, Chinese Taipei; Dato’ Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, Malaysia; Quoc Phuong Nguyen, Airports Corporation of Vietnam, Vietnam; and Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, Delhi International Airport, India.
ACI Asia-Pacific President and Changi Airport Group CEO Seow Hiang Lee said: “The challenge before the Regional Board is to drive the strategic direction of ACI Asia-Pacific during the restart and recovery phase while at the same time positioning our industry to resume its growth trajectory.”
He added: “Each new Board Director brings a unique background and perspective to this task at hand and we warmly welcome them on board.”
Also welcomed at the Regional Assembly were three new ACI Asia-Pacific airport members. They are Albury Airport (New South Wales, Australia), Papa Rererangi I Puketapu (operator of New Plymouth Airport, New Zealand) and Dammam Airports Company (operator of King Fahd International Airport, Saudi Arabia).
Airport membership of ACI Asia-Pacific now stands at 120 members operating 606 airports in 49 countries and territories.
