Air France unveils first branded lounge in London Heathrow Airport Terminal 4

Covering more than 750sq m with almost 150 seats, the Air France lounge in Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 features relaxation spaces, work areas and runway views
Guests can enjoy Champagne, French wines and spirits served from the lounge’s central bar

UK. Air France has opened its first branded lounge in Heathrow Airport Terminal 4, strengthening its airport hospitality offering at one of the airline’s key European gateways.

The lounge, which officially opened today (7 July), is available to Air France La Première, Business and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers, alongside eligible travellers flying with KLM and SkyTeam member airlines.

Designed by the airline in collaboration with agency MARKS Brandimage, the 750sq m lounge has 150 seats and represents the first dedicated Air France lounge at Heathrow.

The space, open daily from 5am to 10pm, has been created to offer customers a premium pre-flight and transit experience inspired by French hospitality.

The interior reflects Air France’s visual identity through a palette of blue, white and red, complemented by heritage-inspired design elements including the airline’s winged seahorse emblem and vintage travel posters. The furnishings feature work by several French designers, including Margaux Keller, Pierre Paulin, Patrick Jouin and Christophe Pillet.

A private lounge within the facility provides bespoke service, in-seat dining and exclusive wellness treatments for La Première customers

A central dining area forms the heart of the lounge, with seating for around 60 guests across communal and individual tables. The menu changes throughout the day and includes a selection of hot and cold French-inspired dishes, including beef bourguignon, alongside vegetarian options.

A staffed bar serves a selection of Champagne, French wines and spirits.

Air France said its food & beverage programme was developed with an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients, alongside initiatives to reduce food waste, encourage recycling and minimise single-use plastics through the installation of water dispensers.

A dedicated Clarins treatment area also features within the lounge, extending a partnership between the airline and the beauty brand that has spanned almost two decades. From 13 July, guests will be able to book one of three complimentary Clarins treatments: Anti Jet-Lag, L’Instant Detox or Focus Regard. The treatments will be offered in a private treatment room.

Flying Blue Ultimate members benefit from a dedicated private space within the new Heathrow lounge

La Première customers benefit from an exclusive private lounge area inspired by the airline’s flagship La Première suites available on selected long-haul services from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The space features five seats overlooking the runway, in-seat dining and access to an exclusive ‘Destination Relaxation’ treatment in the Clarins area.

Flying Blue Ultimate members also have access to a separate private seating area designed to provide additional comfort and privacy.

Elsewhere, the lounge includes relaxation and workspace zones, self-service eligibility kiosks, complimentary wifi, charging points and access to French and international digital publications through the Air France Press app.

This summer, Air France is operating up to six daily services between Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle, providing onward connections across its global network via its Paris hub.
