Air-Val International is launching a new range of Disney and Mattel branded fragrances for children and teens at the TFWA World Exhibition this October (Stand number: Green Village M50).
Founded in 1979 in Barcelona, Spain, Air-Val International was said to be instrumental in creating a niche market for children’s fragrances. In 1981 it launched the first Disney fragrance in two versions: Lady Minnie for girls and Dandy Mickey for boys. Today the company manufactures over 300 Disney and Mattel product references.
For the Cannes show, Air-Val International is introducing fragrances from Cinderella, Minnie Mouse, Dora the Explorer, Monster High, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Avengers.
Cinderella
Marketed as “the perfume that makes dreams come true”, the Cinderella fragrance opens with notes of apple, green cucumber and leafy green. These develop into a heart of strawberry, fruit and lily of the valley, and culminate into a base of vanilla and musk.
The fragrance, topped with a crown-shaped cap, comes in a gift set as a 30ml edt, a clock door hanger and a diamond tattoo.
Minnie Mouse
The new Minnie Mouse fragrance opens with citrus and green notes, making way for heart notes of rose, orris, jasmine, lily of the valley. It then settles into a base of woody notes and musk.
The gift set, which contains a 50ml edt and a body lotion, comes in a red and white striped metallic tin.

Dora the Explorer
The Dora the Explorer perfume has green top notes of apple and cucumber, fruity heart notes of strawberry and lily of the valley, and base notes of musk and vanilla.
The set contains a 30ml edt, a 3-D puzzle, two hair clips and a bracelet.
Monster High
Air-Val International has developed a fragrance for Monster High, a brand of fashion dolls by Mattel inspired by monster movies and horror fiction.
The scent has top notes of lemon, grapefruit, orange and apple; heart notes of jasmine, rose and muguet; and base notes of musk and amber.
The 75ml edt comes in a crystal bottle with the Monster High skull shape.
SpongeBob SquarePants
The SpongeBob SquarePants fragrance opens with citrus notes of lemon, mandarin and grapefruit, which make way for a heart of rose, lily of the valley, jasmine, magnolia and lotus. These culminate into a base of amber and sandal.
The gift set contains a 100ml edt with a key ring and a door hanger.
The Avengers
The Avengers is an American superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name.
The Avengers fragrance has top notes of nutmeg, pepper and fruit; heart notes of green flowers; and base notes of cedar and sandal.
The gift set contains a 50ml edt with phosphorescent stickers and three icon pins.
