Airport Authority Hong Kong launches tender for staff canteen concession

HONG KONG, CHINA. Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has issued a tender for the operation of a staff canteen concession at Hong Kong International Airport.

The winning bidder will manage a 972sq m concession space across levels 10 and 11 of the HKIA Community Building.

Developed and funded by AAHK, the HKIA Community Building was designed to enhance the employee experience, providing a staff clubhouse and cafeteria for personnel working across the airport.

All proposals must be submitted by 19 August, 4pm (Hong Kong time).

Announcing the tender, AAHK said: “HKIA is a world-class international transport hub with extensive air, sea and land links as well as round-the-clock facilities. A large airport work force creates high demand for quality and value-for-money meals with efficient service.”

Potential bidders must hold a valid registered account as ‘Retailer/F&B Operator’ and pay a non-refundable fee of HK$5,000 (US$638) to access the documents.
