UAE. The annual Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Conference & Awards begin this evening at the stunning Atlantis, The Palm venue in Dubai. The event kicks off with an Opening Cocktail hosted by Emirates Leisure Retail & Maritime Mercantile International.
Organised by The Moodie Report and sister title The Foodie Report, and hosted by Dubai Airports, FAB is a showcase for the best in travel-related food & beverage.
The conference has attracted around 170 senior representatives from the world’s leading airports, railway station operators and F&B concessionaires to network with their industry peers, share insights and celebrate best practice in this fast-growing sector.

Among the event highlights will be the FAB Awards, which will be presented during a glittering Gala Dinner on Wednesday night, hosted by Platinum Sponsor HMSHost. The full awards short-list appears below.

This is third running of the FAB Conference & Awards: the event’s debut was in Manchester in 2011 and it was held in Amsterdam last year.
With a powerful line-up of conference speakers, and an awards short-list drawn from a record 209 entries – spanning airports on every continent – FAB 2013 in Dubai promises to be a hugely memorable event.
