The ambitious employee award scheme to find the “˜unsung heroes’ back and front of house launched in December 2003. The programme has now entered the second stage, with 1,200 entries received by the closing date. A judging panel including representatives from the key sponsors above, as well as Alpha’s senior management, will carefully consider each of the 350 finalists from which the winners will be decided.

Three hundred and fifty finalists will be selected after the initial entry period, from which 15 awards in total will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham on 29 March 2004.
