INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Report.com has launched another industry breakthrough – the first interactive duty free and travel retail Forum.
The Moodie Report Forum – the icon is near the top of the left-hand column on our home page – offers readers the chance to have their say on issues of the day, create their own debating subjects and respond to the thoughts of others. Readers can submit comments on a named or anonymous basis.
The user-friendly format means they simply have to click on the home page icon to view others’ posts or add their own. They can add their responses to current debates, ask questions or start their own “˜thread’.
It is a monitored Forum to ensure all content remains within the usual boundaries of fair comment. That means there will sometimes be a short delay before readers comments appear live on the Forum.
The Moodie Report Editor and Publisher Martin Moodie said: “We are committed to investing constantly in new technology and new reader services and the Forum underlines that commitment. We are introducing a similar service on Duty Free Shopping Index.com, our successful start-up consumer website. This simultaneous launch will ensure we are a true sounding board for industry and consumer opinion.
“The success of our electronic media – from our e-newsletter and pdf to The Moodie Report.com – has predictably prompted a rush of imitators. We intend to remain ahead of the pack by continuing to innovate, take risks and provide new services, building The Moodie Report.com all the time as a one-stop reader shop.”
