LIBYA. Aphrodite Duty Free has signed agreements to run duty free retail concessions at Libya’s two major gateways – Tripoli International Airport serving the capital city and Misrata International, located in the country’s third-largest city.
Each store embraces 380sq m of retail space. Brand location will now be finalised as the shops are set to open in two months’ time, said Aphrodite Duty Free Global Manager Travel Retail Mariem Mersni.
As reported, Aphrodite Duty Free opened two new 900sq m duty free stores in the Lebanese ports of Beirut and Tripoli earlier this year.
