Areas’ Portfolio – Made of Portugal celebrates culture, craftsmanship and design at tourism fair

From wines and flavours to fashion and crafts, Portfolio brings the authentic Portuguese experience to life at the largest tourism fair in the country

PORTUGAL. Portfolio – Made of Portugal, a shared travel retail concept by Areas and ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal, showcased its Portuguese-themed offerings at BTL – Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market 2026.

A curated space honours acclaimed Fado singer Cuca Roseta’s role in promoting Portugal’s cultural heritage

Within the ‘Cuca Roseta no Mundo e o Mundo de Cuca Roseta’ space, Portfolio highlighted Portuguese culture through a curated selection of brands and products spanning culture, craftsmanship, design, fashion and flavours.

Themed ‘Made of Culture’, the concept brought together tradition and contemporary creativity, highlighting different expressions of Portuguese identity and heritage.

The event ambassador and Fado singer, Cuca Roseta, also performed an exclusive concert on day two, bringing the authentic sound of Fado (traditional Portuguese genre) to the space. The moment reinforced Portfolio’s sensory experience, immersing visitors in the Portuguese cultural identity presented across its locations at Lisbon, Porto, Faro and Funchal airports.

During the event, Portfolio gathered partners, voices and stories that reflect a shared commitment to celebrating Portugal’s identity and authenticity.

Created exclusively for the airport environment, the concept currently operates six stores, positioning itself as a platform to showcase Portugal’s signature creations to global travellers.
