Areas renews Beauvais Airport partnership with expanded food & beverage line-up

FRANCE. Beauvais Airport has renewed its food & beverage partnership with global travel restaurateur Areas for a further four years. It extends an existing agreement at the Paris region’s third-largest airport, which served more than 6.5 million passengers in 2024.

The new contract will see Areas strengthen its airport presence with three signature concepts across the public and airside areas, scheduled to begin trading by the summer.

A key development will be the opening of a Rossopomodoro restaurant in Terminal 1, located landside.

Areas will introduce international pizza chain Rossopomodoro, which has about 70 pizza restaurants across Italy, at Beauvais Airport {Note: The images used in this story are non-contractual, and are for illustrative purposes only}

The Naples-headquartered casual-dining brand was debuted by Areas in airports at Basel-Mulhouse and brings its ‘A day in Naples’ positioning to Beauvais, with a menu focused on “traditional, colourful, flavourful and convivial” Italian cuisine.

Areas is also introducing its proprietary grab-and-go concept Deli&Cia. Developed by the restaurateur in Barcelona, Deli&Cia offers freshly prepared, on-trend dishes using local and seasonal ingredients, with both dine-in and takeaway options.

A bright space is planned for Deli&Cia, which will replace the existing Café Kiosque

Completing the line-up is Paul le Café, a barista coffee-focused concept developed by Areas in partnership with the well-known French bakery chain Paul.

Areas France CEO Yves Lacheret commented, “We are extremely proud to have won this tender to operate the food & beverage services at Beauvais Airport, which is experiencing strong momentum.

“This renewal reinforces the trust built over the past years thanks to an outstanding team and demonstrates Areas’ ability to innovate and adapt by offering distinctive concepts tailored to travellers’ expectations.”

Beauvais Airport Director Anthony Martin said: “The tenders awarded to Areas reflect the continuity of a long-standing relationship with the airport. Areas consistently supports the airport with regularly updated concepts aligned with passenger expectations and evolving consumption trends.

“This ability to evolve the offer, combined with a constant focus on customer experience, contributes significantly to the quality and coherence of the airport’s commercial offering.” ‍
