IRELAND. Leading travel retailer ARI is preparing to mark National Day of Joy on 24 June with a high-profile global campaign around its brand expression, ‘Joy On Your Way’.
The campaign is being celebrated through the week ahead with a striking makeover of The Moodie Davitt Report desktop homepage along with an elegantly curated treatment of our mobile website.

To mark the occasion, in coming days we will feature interviews with ARI CEO Ray Hernan, Global Head of Marketing Sarah-Jane Lynch and Chief Joy Ambassador Paula Pryor, alongside reports and images from around the ARI global estate.
Hernan said, “Travel retail is often measured through sales, footfall and commercial performance, but behind all of that are people. The experiences travellers remember are usually created by colleagues.
“Joy Day gives us an opportunity to recognise and celebrate that. It reinforces the importance of connection, appreciation and belonging across our business.”









ARI put the theme of ‘joy’ front and centre of its new brand expression introduced in February 2023 – taking into account the fact that airports are places of emotion, with humanity at its most expressive and intense, and recognising the role of shopping and other services in influencing traveller experiences.
The aim was to underscore what the travel retailer terms its point of difference and to “harness the power of human connection across all aspects of the business”. ✈
