US. Philadelphia cigar supplier Ashton has introduced Trés Petite, the smallest cigar in the Ashton Cabinet Series range, into travel retail.
Ashton is handled in duty free and travel retail by ALFA Brands, which has been the exclusive agent in this channel for Ashton worldwide since 1998.
Also new from the supplier are the Ashton Cabinet four packs in a “price sensitive” box format. The box features a distinctive Ashton Cabinet band on a high gloss white package decorated with subtle marble motif. The four packs are available in No.2, No.3, No.6, No.7, No.8, Pyramid and Belicoso sizes.
Hailed by the company as the “white burgundy of cigars”, Cabinet’s four- to five-year-old Dominican filler blend has a rich, well-rounded taste. “Seven years pass from seedling to finished cigar before Ashton Cabinet is brought to fruition and presented for your smoking pleasure,” Ashton said of the cigars.
The cigar’s Connecticut shade wrapper is aged for a year for “a smooth and creamy flavour”. The Ashton Cabinet range offers six different types of tobaccos.
