Asprey opens at Heathrow; makes inflight gains – 29/12/04

UK. Luxury house Asprey has opened a 35sq m store at London Heathrow Airport terminal four in partnership with Harrods.

The stores offer jewels, watches, leather, silk, eyewear and accessories. The optimum shop size would be 50sq m, said Asprey-Garrard Managing Director Sales Distribution Division Paul Cadman. “However, this shop carries abbreviated assortments of the Asprey collection, found in its London and New York flagships and Tokyo private salons,” he said, adding that Asprey will announce more travel retail openings in the near future.

In related news Asprey will be listed with four products on British Airways in March 2005: silk/linen scarves, Asprey 167 leather and silver stud bracelets, silk ties and the signature fragrance Asprey Purple Water.

All Nippon Airways will list the Asprey 167 pendant in yellow gold, as of May 2005. Again, further airline listings will be announced in the near future.
