LATIN AMERICA. Avolta is staging a series of high-profile promotions and raffle draws to capture consumer attention across its Latin American airport estate.
The campaign allows customers the chance to win special prizes including boats, cars, motorbikes and travel packages.
As reported, the promotion was launched last year and continues through 2023 in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Uruguay.
The retailer said the campaign underscores its commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. It is being promoted across all Avolta channels including its stores, website, social networks, Red by Dufry Loyalty Programme and New Generation store communications.
Customers who purchase items from participating brands are eligible to win the luxury prizes on offer.
ARGENTINA: Buenos Aires Duty Free, Ezeiza International Airport
Qualified customers in Argentina have the opportunity take home any of the three combinations of one Quad Bike, one Spy Racer, one Vespa and one Electric Scooter.
BRAZIL: Rio de Janeiro Galeão International Airport
Among the major luxury prizes, a hybrid Jeep Compass was won by a customer in Brazil.
MEXICO: Cancún Airport
At Cancún Airport, a customer from the US won a Mini Cooper, while a BMW motorcycle will be presented to the winner of the raffle draw for the November to December 2023 campaign period.
MEXICO: Los Cabos Airport
A winning customer from Los Cabos Airport received his Maverick Can-Am earlier this year.
CHILE: Santiago Duty Free, Arturo Merino Benítez Airport, Santiago de Chile
In Chile, Avolta has partnered with Ducati to raffle off a Ducati Multistrada and a Ducati Scrambler, which was awarded to a winner from the April-July 2023 promotional period.
The retailer has also teamed up with travel agency Despegar to award winning customers with travel packages to Europe worth US$10,000.
COLOMBIA: Bogotá Duty Free, El Dorado International Airport
A Ducati DesertX motorbike was presented to the raffle draw winner in Colombia earlier this year. Avolta also gave away a Ducati Monster last year.
ECUADOR: Guayaquil Duty Free
A customer from Ecuador also won a SWM G01 F SUV, while another lucky shopper brought home a Toyota Raize car. One eligible customer will have a chance to win a Maxus T60 during the October to January 2024 promotional period.
URUGUAY: Duty Free Uruguay, Carrasco International Airport
A winner in Uruguay received a Mini Cooper Electric from the raffle draw earlier in 2023.
Customers at Duty Free Uruguay, Carrasco General Cesáreo L. Berisso International Airport still have the chance to win major prizes until February 2024, including a Fugleman sand car and Vespa motorcycles.
Aside from raffle draws, Avolta this year hosted a series of retailtainment activities across its stores in the region, including for Valentine’s Day in Dominican Republic, Day of the Dead in Mexico, Carnival in Brazil and Halloween in Uruguay and Colombia. ✈
