SWITZERLAND. Leading travel retailer Avolta has unveiled a revamped landside food court at Geneva Airport, marking the first completed phase of its new six-year food & beverage agreement with the Swiss gateway.
The contract, announced in January, covers 12 locations spanning more than 3,000sq m and builds on a partnership between Avolta and Geneva Airport dating back to 2015.
Located on the departures level before security, the renewed food court is accessible to both passengers and other airport visitors.

The line-up combines Avolta-developed concepts Chef Kebap, Tiger Bites and Brewgate with Geneva franchise concept Edwards and international brands Starbucks and McDonald’s.
Geneva Airport’s outdoor terrace has also been refreshed and now features Food Stage, a flexible modular F&B concept designed to accommodate a changing offer.
Genève Aéroport Chief Commercial Officer Kristina Mees commented, “The opening of this renewed food court reflects the strength of our longstanding partnership and close collaboration with Avolta.
“Together, we have created a concept that brings together a balanced mix of local heroes, international brands and tailor-made offers. Designed for local and international passengers alike, as well as airport visitors, the food court creates a welcoming and engaging landside experience.
“It reflects our ambition to deliver a diverse, dynamic and high-quality food & beverage offering that responds to the evolving expectations of our customers.”
Avolta CEO Northern, Central and Eastern Europe Walter Seib said, “Our relationship with Geneva Airport goes back more than a decade and this new food court represents another important step in our collaboration.
“Bringing together locally relevant, Avolta-developed F&B concepts, with internationally recognised brands, we offer travellers and visitors greater choice and an environment that feels contemporary, welcoming and connected to Geneva.
