NORTH AMERICA. Avolta’s Journey For Good Foundation has awarded US$820,000 in grants to 39 charities across the USA and Canada in its second funding round of 2026, bringing its total charitable contributions this year to US$1.36 million.
The latest grants will support programmes addressing food insecurity, housing stability, education, workforce development and services for veterans and vulnerable communities.
The funding follows the Foundation’s first grant cycle of 2026, when it distributed US$540,000 to 22 charitable organisations.
A third funding round is scheduled for later this year.

Journey For Good Foundation Chairman and Avolta President & CEO Steve Johnson said, “Strong communities are built when people have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
“These organisations are tackling some of the most pressing challenges facing individuals and families and we are proud to invest in programmes that create meaningful, lasting change.
“We are grateful for the generosity of travellers and the dedication of Avolta team members and partners who continue to champion our mission.”
The Foundation, Avolta’s charitable arm in North America, is funded through voluntary traveller donations at participating Dufry, Hudson and HMSHost duty-free, convenience and food & beverage outlets across the region.
Additional funding comes from the Foundation’s annual charity golf tournament and other fundraising events, while Avolta provides employee leadership, expertise and operational support.
Journey For Good Foundation Director Jordan Silverman commented: “Behind every grant is a story of resilience, opportunity and hope. The nonprofits we support are doing extraordinary work to strengthen communities and empower people to achieve greater stability and independence.
“Thanks to the generosity of so many, we have funded programmes that provide critical resources and tools aimed at breaking the cycles of poverty and homelessness.
“We are proud to continue to be a powerful force for good through travel retail and food & beverage.”
The grants form part of Avolta’s wider community engagement activities. Across North America, its employees participate in volunteering, fundraising, food donation programmes and mentorship initiatives.
Globally, Avolta’s community programmes focus on education, healthcare, support for vulnerable groups, food security and environmental initiatives. ✈
