AUSTRALIA. Bacardi Lion, the premium spirits joint venture by Bacardi Martini and Lion Nathan in Australia, has expanded its portfolio with distribution of Eristoff Vodka in Australia starting on 1 July 2006.
An imported Russian Vodka, Eristoff will be available in Original and Sloe Berry flavoured skus.
The brand offers customers and consumers greater choice within the mainstream end of the growing vodka category, according to Bacardi Lion.

The Eristoff Vodka brand
Celebrating its 200th birthday this year, the Eristoff brand is steeped in history, originally hailing from Georgia, Russia, before relocating to St Petersburg where the family-owned brand was acquired by Martini & Rossi (now Bacardi-Martini) and operations were moved to Italy. Eristoff carries the name of one of Russia’s most ancient and noble families and has strong links to the Russian Royal family and a distinguished military history.
Eristoff is described as an exceptionally pure, neutral spirit with a slight hint of liquorice and green apple. Its clean taste leaves no aftertaste.
Eristoff Original: An authentic Russian vodka with noble origins, Eristoff is a triple-distilled quality vodka made from 100% pure grain to a recipe based on Prince Eristoff’s original recipe of 1806. Available in 700ml at 37.5% abv.
Eristoff Red: A sloe berry flavoured vodka-based spirit accredited with being the original spirit partner for Red Bull, after the craze began in Austria where the combination is known as Flügerl (Wings). Available in 700ml at 20% abv.
