Baileys Chocolat Luxe: a mix of Belgian chocolate, Irish whiskey and cream |
Diageo Global Travel and Middle East (GTME) has combined chocolate with its Irish whiskey-based cream liqueur brand for the first time with the launch of Baileys Chocolat Luxe.
Making its debut in select duty free outlets worldwide, the latest flavour was developed by the son of the creator of Baileys Original Irish Cream, Anthony Wilson. Baileys Chocolat Luxe is created from ingredients including Madagascan vanilla, over 30 grams of Belgian chocolate and traditional Baileys.
Wilson said: “For the first time, real Belgian chocolate has been fused with alcohol in a way that delivers the multi-sensory experience of chocolate in a glass.”
Diageo GTME Global Marketing Director Steve White added: “Diageo GTME is thrilled to be among the first to bring Baileys Chocolat Luxe to shoppers, highlighting global travel’s importance in launching new products to consumers.”
