Bateel brings Dubai Chocolate innovation to travel retail with Qahwa Kunafa and Matcha Strawberry

Bateel advances its flavour journey, blending creativity and craftsmanship in response to shifting consumer tastes

Dubai-headquartered gourmet food producer and retailer Bateel is set to roll out its expanded Dubai Chocolate range to global travel retail, featuring the Qahwa Kunafa and Matcha Strawberry flavours.

Combining single-origin chocolate with the aromas of traditional qahwa, the Qahwa Kunafa Dubai Chocolate bar is layered with golden kunafa and enhanced with subtle cardamom notes, bringing a heritage-inspired taste experience.

Matcha and strawberry-led trends, alongside the global success of Dubai Chocolate, help boost Bateel’s evolving chocolate portfolio

The Matcha Strawberry Dubai Chocolate combines silky white chocolate with a strawberry cheesecake centre, enhanced with matcha for a subtle earthy profile, blending East Asian inspiration with Middle Eastern heritage.

Bateel CEO Nurtac Afridi said, “The inspiration behind our new chocolate creations was to explore flavour combinations that feel both familiar and new, reflecting the evolving tastes we’re seeing across the region.

“As these flavours continue to gain global recognition, we saw an opportunity to reinterpret them through our confectionery expertise, creating products that resonate with both regional and international audiences.”

The latest creations underscore the company’s commitment to craftsmanship, quality and innovation, blending classic and contemporary flavour influences in a refined, modern chocolate format.
