Belvédère Duty Free to launch new Limited Edition Danzka Vodka bottle in Cannes – 14/10/08

DENMARK. Belvédère Duty Free is set to unveil the new Limited Edition Danzka Vodka bottle at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Stand number: Green Village H52).

“We challenged the students of the renowned Danish Design School to decorate the Danzka Vodka bottle in a way that underlines the brand, the heritage and the pedigree. Sixty students took up the challenge and this bottle, Snowflakes, was nominated as the winning Limited Edition Danzka Vodka,” explained Belvédère Duty Free International Brand Manager Martha Bamberger.

“Limited Edition Danzka Vodka will be on the shelves from late 2008 until early summer 2009. We anticipate that it will become quite a collector’s item, as the first of its kind,” said Belvédère Duty Free Sales Director Torben Vedel Andersen.

The winning design, Snowflakes, was selected from 60 entries by students of the renowned Danish Design School


Together with the duty free team, Bamberger will be on the stand for part of the week in Cannes to present the Limited Edition Danzka Vodka to customers.

Belvédère Duty Free Managing Director Wojtek Wydro added: “The President of the group, Krzyzstof Trylinski, will be attending the TFWA show for several days to meet with our current and future customers.

“Mr Trylinski’s attendance at the exhibition reaffirms our group’s commitment to the global duty free and travel retail market and underlines the incredible growth that we are enjoying in this channel.”

Belvédère’s US-based sister company, Imperial Brands Inc, will also be at the stand during the week. Following the strong growth of the Belvédère brands in the Americas, Imperial Brands will take over the day-to-day responsibilities of the group’s duty free business in that region.

Also, representatives from Belvedere’s key brands will be on hand: Sobieski Vodka, Danzka Vodka, Marie Brizard and Gautier Cognac, along with representatives from Belvédère’s Bulgarian wineries, which is a fast-developing premium business within the group.
