Making it personal: the new palette system from Bobbi Brown | |
UK. Bobbi Brown has taken the concept of personalised beauty to the next level with a new system that incorporates Eye Shadow and Blush Compacts that can be used individually or assembled into palettes. It is being rolled out in travel retail this month.
The new system makes it easy for any woman to create a streamlined make-up routine with her hand-selected shades, according to the company.
“I’ve always believed in the concept of personalised beauty and helping women find make-up shades that are right for their skin tone and personal style,” Brown explained. “No two women are alike, so their make-up shouldn’t be either. This is an easy way for any woman to create make-up palettes with her most perfect shades”.
In keeping with its philosophy of individualised beauty, Bobbi Brown has created three empty mirrored palettes to be custom-filled with multiple shades of Eye Shadow and Blush.
The company has also revamped its Eye Shadow and Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow portfolio, with innovative new packaging and an expanded range of shades.
Created with a unique “pop-out-pan” design, the flip-top compacts give women the freedom to purchase shades for individual use, or pop them out to assemble them into a customisable palette. There are 37 matte and 24 shimmer shades, for a wide array of eye looks.
This season, Bobbi Brown has also repackaged its existing Blush formula in a sleek, new flip-top compact with the afore-mentioned “pop-out-pan” design. There are 19 matte and five shimmer shades.

Lastly, Bobbi Brown has created a limited-edition Mini Brush & Palette Case. This is described as a soft accessory that includes brushes for cheeks and eyes, and is sized to fit several palettes as well as other make-up items.
The black nylon make-up bag features an inner pocket and includes three mini brushes: Blush Brush, Eye Shadow Brush and Eye Liner Brush.
In other news, Bobbi Brown has created the Quick Face Collection, for women who need to make up in minimal time.
“As a busy working mother, I know first-hand that it’s a challenge to get a few minutes of uninterrupted time in front of the mirror – and that’s what inspired the Quick Face Collection,” Brown explained.
“These products are easy to use, they’re great on the go, and they make you look better instantly.”
The collection includes a new, limited-edition Lip Crayon. These are chubby lip pencils that can be applied quickly and easily, for long-lasting colour. Four shades are available: Naked Pink, Nude Berry, Warm Rose and Red Plum.
Another key product is Long-Wear Cream Shadow, available in five new, neutral matte shades (Navajo, Malted, Slate, Stone and Cement). This is a long-wearing formula that can be applied with fingers or the company’s Cream Shadow Brush.
