The new eau de parfum version of Ma Dame |
FRANCE. Beauté Prestige International (BPI) has updated its Ma Dame feminine fragrance from Jean Paul Gaultier with a new eau de parfum version. Like the original edt, it too is fronted by edgy, androgynous supermodel Agyness Deyn.
The fragrance – described as “very glam, very rock” – features a floral juice spiced up by black roses for what BPI describes as a “vinyl effect”.
The three key notes are rose, musk and cedar. Other ingredients include patchouli and pink pepper.
The Ma Dame packaging has been revamped with a glossy black and neon pink colour-scheme (the original was shocking pink, matte black and lacquered white, with a graphic typeface).
Ma Dame Eau de Parfum will be available in travel retail in two sizes: a 50ml and 75ml, priced at around €54 and €67, respectively.
In other news, BPI has created a new version of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Classique women’s fragrance. The Classique X Collection will begin rolling out in travel retail this month.
The fragrance was inspired by the designer’s Fall/Winter 2009/2010 X fashion collection, which featured a sexy, erotic look and crosses on the clothes. Accordingly, the new X Collection fragrance bottle sports a transparent X at the bust, and the outer carton – the iconic metal can – is coloured black. The juice has also been updated.
The Jean Paul Gaultier Classique X fragrance will be available as a 50ml and 100ml edt spray, priced in travel retail at around €50 and €72, respectively.
