Camus Wines and Spirits has presented Ernesto Bertarelli and his family with the first Babson-Camus Family Entrepreneurship Award.
The award, in collaboration with Babson College – a leader in entrepreneurship education – honours multi-generational families in business. It also underlines that family value systems are an “important driver for positive impact all around the world”.
“I believe that families in business have an impact that goes well beyond the family business itself” – Camus Wines and Spirits President Cyril Camus

Bertarelli is an Italian-born Swiss billionaire and philanthropist who is active in business and sport, well-known as the founder of the yachting team Alinghi, which has twice won the America’s Cup.
Camus Wines and Spirits President Cyril Camus said: “I am honoured to present the first ever Babson-Camus Global Family Entrepreneurship Award to Ernesto Bertarelli and family for their contribution to the fields of family entrepreneurship, life science and marine conservation.
“I believe that families in business have an impact that goes well beyond the family business itself. With this special award I hope to properly celebrate the unique value Ernesto and the Bertarelli family have contributed to our global economy and society, and inspire other families to continue to leverage their value systems into positive impact.”
