The Samsung Galaxy S5 will launch across all Capi locations on 11 April at €699
Capi is set for the international launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5 along with three new Gear smartwatches.
The Galaxy S5, regarded as Samsung’s flagship smartphone, will be launched together with the Gear 2, Gear Fit and Gear 2 Neo smartwatches through all Capi locations on 11 April. The launch price for the smartphone is €699, including a free flip wallet.
In combination with the smartphone, the smartwatch – which offers a range of health and fitness trackers including heart rate monitor and pedometer – is “a wearable computer”.
The Galaxy S5 has a modern look and features a 16 megapixel camera with high-speed autofocus and shooting modes such as selective focus. In combination with the Gear smartwatch accessories, the smartphone offers a range of fitness features including a heart rate monitor, calorie tracker, pedometer and coaching option with the personal trainer app, as well as a sleep tracker.
In addition, the Galaxy S5 is protected by fingerprint security, has a kids mode and is dust and water resistant.
Royal Capi-Lux Managing Director Peter Wiggers said: “Samsung smartphones and smartwatches are really sophisticated computers, combining a number of separate functionalities in one small device. Samsung products continue to delight and inspire customers, which is why we will be promoting the newest smartphone and watch on a large scale at our stores – they fit our policy perfectly.”
The Galaxy S5 and Gear smartwatches will be promoted in store in Capi’s What’s New section and on the Action Marketing Table was well as in shop windows. At Schiphol Airport, Capi will also team up with Schiphol Media to advertise the Samsung introduction across the airport.
