Hong Kong International Airport issues tender for bakery and festive food concession
The contract covers two outlets – an 84sq m space at the Departures Check-in Hall located on Level 7 and a 60sq m unit at the Departures West Hall on Level 6.
The spaces cover 165sq m, 402sq m and 363sq m, with the successful bidder expected to offer a mix of international cuisines in a combination of grab and go and casual-dining units.
The new agreement will see the launch of a new store and two additional ATMs, taking Travelex’s portfolio at the airport to 11 stores and 50 ATMs.

The contract includes four F&B outlets – Wolfgang Puck Kitchen Counter + Bar, HEYTEA, T9 Premium TEA and Kumo Kumo – plus a Hudson Evolve store and four other specialist shops.
The stores will offer duty-free goods on arrivals and departuresfor ships going in each direction. In recognition of the duality concept, the project has been dubbed ‘A Man, A Plan, A Canal, Panama’ – a title than can be read in either direction.
The successful bidder will manage a 456sq m space in the high-traffic Terminal 1 Departures East Hall, located on Level 7.
The contract covers six outlets strategically situated in the Coach Hall, on Level 3 Terminal 2, scheduled to open in Q3/Q4 this year.
Ottawa International Airport Authority has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the duty-free concession at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport. 3Sixty Duty Free has managed the contract since 2016.
The agreement, which builds on a 28-year partnership with the Western Australia gateway, will see LagardèreAWPL open three new Relay stores and two flagship destination merchandise shops.
