Changi Airport awards key brand name bistro and coffee concessions in T3 – 04/07/07

SINGAPORE. Hard Rock Café, Sarika Gourmet Coffee and Senso Holdings were the big winners in a hard-fought contest for three brand name western speciality bistro concessions at Singapore Changi Airport’s New Terminal Three, which opens in January.

The three winners beat competition from eight other bidders for the concessions, including HMSHost Corp and Nuance-Watson (Singapore) to secure the business.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore has also awarded two lucrative brand name western speciality coffee concessions at the new T3.

The winners were Sarika Gourmet Coffee (Arrivals Hall Central) and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which will operate two units, one in Departure/Check-In Hall North, the other in Departure/Transit Lounge North airside.

There were eight bidders in total, including international rivals SSP, HMSHost and Starbucks.
