UK. Proceeds from a raffle held at the 2005 ISPY cabin crew awards evening in November have been donated to the Macmillan Cancer Relief charity.
Masterfoods International Travel Retail Manager Martyn Westbury, the organiser of the raffle, said the raffle raised £1,200 in cash. The prize of a hamper full of chocolates worth £100 was also donated to the charity – having been won by Steve Brock of Cadbury’s.
Westbury said: “My sincere appreciation to all those who supported the raffle, either through the purchase of raffle tickets or by helping me in my quest to leave no one missed out. It is a fantastic result from the industry and one of which I am sure everyone at ISPY this year will want to better.”
