Choco Myths has appointed International Duty Free (IDF) as its exclusive distributor for Africa, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the Sub-Indian continent.
IDF CEO Sherif Toulan said: “We are genuinely thrilled to bring these delicious chocolates, which seamlessly blend education and entertainment, to these regions.”

Established in 2016, the Choco Myths concept is based on combining mythological, fictional and historical characters with chocolate and biscuit products, all presented in a “fun but always respectful way”.
Choco Myths General Manager George Chouseas commented: “We’re delighted to partner exclusively with IDF who, with their commitment to excellence and expansive distribution network, are the ideal partner to expand our imaginative chocolate and biscuit creations to a wider audience.
“Together we are set for an exciting journey, crafting memorable moments along the way. Our strategic partnership with IDF will enable us to increase our footprint quickly and efficiently in these regions.”

As reported, the innovative confectionery brand was a first-time exhibitor at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
“We were very proud to be part of the Cannes exhibition for the first time, and thank the TFWA for their trust and great support. The exhibition is vital to our expansion within travel retail and we are already looking forward to be present once again in 2024.”
Chouseas underlined Choco Myth’s focus on the global travel retail market. “Besides Europe, we value the significance of growing markets especially in Africa and Asia. There are so many myths and legends in these regions, and we are happy that several local retailers are very much interested to create tailor-made products,” he said.
