FRANCE. Christophe Marque has been promoted to a key new role at L’Oréal Produits de Luxe International Travel Retail Worldwide.

The former Travel Retail Division Manager – Lancôme – Asia/Pacific has been named Commercial and Retail Development Director, working closely with Travel Retail Division Managing Director Eric Tarral.
Marque’s role at Lancôme has been taken by Lina Ly, former General Manager of Chanel cosmetics on the China domestic market.
Marque told The Moodie Report that his new role will focus on five key areas:
* The integration of YSL Beauté (acquired by L’Oréal in early 2008) within the group’s travel retail portfolio
* To develop a commercial strategy with major multi-zone clients
* Acceleration of the roll-out of the group’s new brands
* Merchandising
* Training
* Media in airports
