CNSC captures eight-year arrivals duty-free concession at Guiyang International Airport

Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport is a fast-growing gateway to Southwest China and a key addition to the CNSC network

CHINA. Sinopharm-owned China National Service Corporation (CNSC) has been awarded an eight-year arrivals duty-free concession at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport in Guizhou province.

CNSC hailed the 255sq m arrivals store as a strategic addition to its duty-free network and a pivotal move as it expands into the Southwest China market.

The outlet is one of the 41 arrivals duty-free shops to be established across the country under an updated government policy introduced in January.

This will be the first arrivals duty-free store at the airport. CNSC said it will tailor its offering based on regional cultural characteristics and traveller preferences.

It said it will continuously refine product selections, upgrade service standards and innovate operating models to deliver a “seamless, premium duty‑free experience for passengers”.

“We remain committed to elevating the port retail landscape via premium offerings and services, and will position the Guiyang Airport arrivals store as a key showcase of high-quality duty-free consumption in Southwest China,” a CNSC statement added.
