Luxury beauty house Guerlain, part of LVMH Group, has extended its Terracotta face range with a blush and concealer. These are the Terracotta Le Teint, Terracotta Concealer and Terracotta Blush. They are now available in selected Guerlain stores in global travel retail.
A first for the brand, Terracotta Le Teint is a natural-origin powder concealer that blends the 24-hour long-lasting coverage of a liquid concealer with the blurring power of a correcting powder.
The Terracotta Concealer combines fluid and powder textures to offer buildable and seamless coverage. It ensures 24-hour hydration and optimal wear and is made with 95% naturally derived ingredients. The concealer has been infused with several skincare actives including marine extract and argan oil, which deeply hydrates and revitalises the skin.
Based on clinical evaluations, the Terracotta concealer has been shown to boost skin radiance by +30% and skin smoothness by +35% for 24 hours. It is available in 16 inclusive shades spanning a wide range of skin tones and undertones.
Guerlain Makeup Creative Director Violette Serra commented: “For added colour correction, I’ve incorporated just the right quantity of coloured pigments: a hint of pink in the lighter shades to correct dark circles; a touch of peach in the medium shades to brighten shadowy areas and a dash of yellow in the darker shades to soften purplish dark circles.”
Both expressions are packaged in tubes that feature the same motifs as the brand’s hero Terracotta bronzer. The tubes feature a brown cap with a golden ring which reveals the house’s signature double-G logo.
The Terracotta blush is a lightweight powder blush made with 90% natural-origin ingredients. The buildable formula has been infused with argan oil, the key ingredient of the Terracotta line, which ensures a sensorial texture.
The blush is available in six shades inspired by the colours of the earth. These are light nude, deep nude, light pink, deep pink, light coral and deep coral.
The blushes are housed in Guerlain’s signature Terracotta powder compact which features a semi-transparent brown lid with the Maison’s double-G logo.
The campaigns for both the concealer line and the blush line were shot by French fashion photographer Karim Sadli and stars models Dorit Revelis, Amrit and Maty Fall. ✈
