Connecting the cruise sector: Harding+ holds inaugural digital Supplier Conference

INTERNATIONAL. Leading cruise retail concessionaire Harding+ last week hosted its inaugural digital Supplier Conference. The live-streamed discussion and opinion event was attended by 156 vendor partners. The retailer said it move underlined its commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation within the cruise retail sector.

Led by Harding+ Chief Commercial Officer Linzi Walker, the broadcast event featured interviews and insights from nine senior leaders across the company to help foster mutual growth and partnership.

The livestream connected Harding+ with partners around the world

The discussion shared insights on industry growth, recent advances in customer insights through the merging of cruise line and retail data sets, the unique opportunities presented by cruise retailing, plus emerging trends across key product categories.

Harding+ used the platform on 24 October to broadcast key messages about its strategy and partnership goals

Calls to action focused on seasonal opportunities for content, range, trending products and guest led brand experiences.

Walker explained: “As the only 100% cruise-focused retailer, we believe sharing more of our unique take on what is working now and for the future will add extra value to all those with whom we work closely to land guest satisfaction and commercial wins.

“This is the first large-scale digital event we have run of this kind, and the positive feedback we have already received means more will follow. It feels like a strong build for us from this year’s TFWA World Exhibition, where our team felt exploratory conversations around business potential were especially fresh and energised.” ✈
