Copenhagen Airports names Peter Krogsgaard in key commercial role

Peter Krogsgaard: Vital role at the Danish gateway airport

DENMARK. Copenhagen Airports has named Peter Krogsgaard as its new Chief Commercial Officer, effective from 1 September. He will replace the well regarded Carsten Nørland, who resigned from the post at the end of March.

Krogsgaard was previously Managing Director of Fujitsu Denmark and Norway. He is 45 years old and has a strong background business-to-consumer and business-to-business activities, noted the airport company.

In the past 15 years, Krogsgaard has held a number of management positions with various companies in IT and telecommunications, including Fujitsu, Teliasonera, HI3G, Nokia and Orange. He holds an MBA Executive from the AVT Business School.

“We are pursuing a clear growth strategy aiming to expand our position as the key hub of northern Europe,” said Copenhagen Airport’s CEO Thomas Woldbye. “Providing an attractive offering to airlines and travellers and the continued development of e-commerce are key fields in the competition with other European airports. I look forward to working with Peter Krogsgaard, and I am confident that he can take us further in our strategic journey that is already well under way. Peter has a very strong track record.”

Krogsgaard added: “CPH plays a key role for all of Denmark and is a company which many Danes are rightfully proud of. I look forward to joining the executive team and to contribute to making Copenhagen Airport develop through extraordinary customer experiences and strong commercial success.”
