Danzka Vodka will be poured on all Air India flights for the next two years |
Danzka Vodka has signed a “landmark” contract with Air India as exclusive pouring brand onboard the carrier’s flights for the next two years.
As reported this week, Behn Group, the family-owned German business behind Dooley`s Original Toffee Liqueur and Kleiner Feigling, has just acquired Danzka from French company Belvédère.
The airline deal, effective from this month, was made in close cooperation with Belvédère Scandinavia’s sister company in India, Sobieski Beverages India.
Danzka Vodka, known for its Danish designed aluminium bottles which are said to chill vodka faster than glass, was relaunched both in the Indian domestic market and the duty free market earlier this year. Brand executives believe that the contract will ensure increased awareness for Danzka throughout India and will support efforts in that market.
The brand’s presence on board Air India will, they believe, improve regional performance and increase its popularity in key airport duty free shops in India and other airports such as Dubai, Qatar, Sharjah and Bangkok.
