Imperial Tobacco unveiled a new design for Davidoff packs and cartons last week in Cannes.Building on the brand’s heritage, the new design incorporates the ZD icon on the front as a silver “˜hallmark’ and the ZD signature on the reverse as well as text elements such as “˜Geneva 1926′. The Davidoff Premium and Slims lines feature engraved textures that are said to create a soft, silky touch for the user.
Imperial Tobacco Trade Marketing & Marketing Operations Manager Global Duty Free Nicole Peiler said: “This latest rejuvenation will fascinate shoppers with its new design detail which clearly meets the traveller’s needs for luxurious design, premium quality and pleasurable experience.”
Exclusive to travel retail, the carton interior features the story of the Davidoff brand. While no changes have been made to the Davidoff cigarette blend, there have been slight enhancements to the filter tipping.
The design enhancements are in line with the overall upgrading of the brand, according to the company.
