French fragrance house Diptyque has released its Holiday 2021 range, the fifth and final collection released to celebrate its 60th anniversary this year. The holiday collection was inspired by the ‘curiosity, time and inheritance’ of Diptyque’s founding trio. The Holiday 2021 collection is now available in global travel retail.
The festive line, conceived to be a cabinet of curiosities filled with surprising creations, comprises a fragrance diffuser, limited edition Do Son Eau de Parfum and solid perfume, and three limited edition scented candles.
The line also features new ‘The Nomad’ and ‘The Inseparable’ candle companions, featuring lantern and carousel accessories, alongside the limited edition Amber and Wood Set, Scented Taper Candles and Advent Calendar.

The fragrance diffuser is a timeless decorative object with a prismatic effect. It was designed to perfume large spaces over extended periods and is fully rechargeable. It is available in three signature Diptyque scents: Baies, Roses or Tubéreuse.
The Do Son scent comes in two formats, an Eau de Parfum and a solid perfume in a refillable golden case.

The trio of limited edition scented candles come with gold-coloured lids, which were inspired by precious metals malachite, lapis lazuli and cornelian. The three scented candles, Flocon, Biscuit and Spain, convey a different interpretation of a winter classic, ideal of the holiday season.
Flocon opens with light white musk notes combined with mimosa, while Biscuit offers spicy dessert tones with patchouli. Finally, Sapin offers fragrant mountain pine notes.

The Nomad accessory adds to the line’s sustainability credentials, and was designed to complement any empty 190g vessel, which can be upcycled as a jar, plant pot or decorative object.
The Inseparable Companions, the carousel and lantern, were designed to complement two empty vessels, a 190g candle and a 70g candle, offering creative freedom in extending the product life cycle of Diptyque’s candle products. The carousel rotates in the heat of the flame, creating whimsical shadows, while the lantern is decorated in a golf-coloured version of the Basile pattern. Diptyque has also released am advent calendar filled with 25 surprising treasures.

The collection is completed with the addition of three new arrivals to the Diptyque portfolio which are three scented taper candles, Feu de Bois, Ambre and Baies, which innovatively combine hard wax with perfume.
The packaging design features a contemporary take on the Basile pattern that was inspired by the hard stones that decorated the walls of the first Diptyque boutique on 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain.
