Seamless shopping

T4 is the first at Changi Airport to offer a walk-through retail concept. The layout of the new store offers an integrated shopping space covering both liquor & tobacco and cosmetics & perfumes (operated by Shilla Duty Free). Travellers are able to purchase their items in a single transaction at common cashier counters, served by team members who are cross-trained on all products in order to enhance the collaborative shopping experience.

Changi Airport Group Senior Vice President of Airside Concessions Division Teo Chew Hoon commented: “Our vision for Terminal 4 is to continually delight travellers with new retail experiences. CAG is happy to work with DFS to create a first-in-Changi seamless duty free zone. Passengers can enjoy experiential retail concepts where they can try their hand at mixing cocktails or sample exotic beers and spirits, all in a single retail space. With the addition of Terminal 4 we look forward to welcoming many more travellers to enjoy Changi Airport’s exciting offerings.”

The Cocktail Bar

The new DFS store sees the introduction of two new category concepts: ‘The Cocktail Bar’ and ‘The Craft Collection’. The first is a collaborative bar space where travellers are encouraged to engage in the basics of cocktail making. The open space with its engaging and contemporary décor features classic cocktail essentials as well as new home-bar additions. With an aim to make cocktails accessible for both connoisseurs and novices, DFS’s brand partners will be invited to take over the space and showcase their spirits throughout the year.
