UAE. Dubai Duty Free is celebrating its success at the 4th Middle East & Africa Duty Free Association (MEADFA) Awards, where it won the Sustainability and CSR accolade.
The awards were presented during a gala dinner at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City in November, held alongside the MEADFA Conference, which brought together 736 delegates.

Dubai Duty Free was honoured for its innovative use of the retail platform to drive meaningful environmental and social impact.
The entry reflected the company’s integrated ESG strategy and a firm commitment to corporate social responsibility.
The award was presented to Dubai Duty Free Managing Director Ramesh Cidambi by MEADFA President and Avolta Middle East & Africa CEO Abdeslam Agzoul, together with Retail Strategic Partners Managing Partner Rob Marriott.
Also in attendance were Dubai Duty Free SVP – Finance Bernard Creed; SVP – Retail Michael Schdmit; SVP – Purchasing Sharon Beecham; SVP – Loss Prevention & Corporate Security Zayed Al Shebli; and Senior Manager – Marketing Salim Dahman.
Organised by the MEADFA board, the awards celebrate innovation, resilience and transformative contributions within the industry, reaffirming MEADFA’s commitment to recognising excellence.
