CHINA. American skincare brand Elizabeth Arden is celebrating its new White Tea Skin Solutions collection with a high-profile pop-up campaign in Hainan.
The pop-ups are located in the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex and the CNSC Sanya International Duty Free Plaza with mini outposts in the Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex (China Duty Free Group) and Times DF Haikou Mission Hills (Shenzhen Duty Free Group and DFS).
Elizabeth Arden is running a White Tea House activation on the first floor of the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex until the end of December. The complex is operated by license holder Hainan Tourism Investment Duty Free Co with support partner Lagardère Travel Retail.
The brand is also running the same White Tea House animation on the first floor atrium of the CSC Sanya International Duty Free Plaza until 6 February 2023.
Both animations invite shoppers to experience Elizabeth Arden’s White Tea Skin Solutions line through a range of retailtainment elements. These include interactive product discovery walls, giant White Tea Solutions installations, product discovery tables, and a White Tea Solutions tea trolley.
At the pop-ups, shoppers can discover the five key brand pillars of Elizabeth Arden through colourful educational displays. These are: real results, sustainability, vegan and natural, clean formulas and skin-friendly. The five pillars are represented via an eco-tree feature which is present in all of the Hainan pop-ups including a high-profile display at The Beauty Hall in Times DF Haikou Mission Hills.
Elizabeth Arden’s White Tea Fragrance and Body Care collection in the Wild Rose, Ginger Lily and Mandarin Blossom scents are also being showcased at the pop-ups.
Elizabeth Arden has partnered with tea brand Nayuki to offer complimentary white tea beverages to visitors of the pop-ups via special branded vending machines. The vending machines are available in all Elizabeth Arden duty free counters in Hainan including its boutique at the Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex in Haitang Bay.
Mini outposts of the pop-ups can be found on Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex driving further awareness for the launch. A mini outpost has also been launched near the reception counter of the CNSC Sanya International Duty Free Plaza, giving travellers complimentary branded white tea drinks.
The new White Tea Skin Solutions collection has been formulated with EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate Glucoside), which is an active molecule found in White Tea. Known as a potent antioxidant, EGCG is bioengineered to restore natural collagen in the skin. It is made with sustainable ingredients and packaged in eco-friendly materials. The gentle, sensorial formula can be used on all skin types.
