
The Bluedog Group has named Rebecca Mann as Senior Account & Content Manager within its specialist press relations division, Essential Communications. The appointment, effective 1 August, follows a successful period of freelance collaboration.
Mann brings 30 years of experience in travel retail, spanning journalism, PR, copywriting and content creation.
Her editorial career in the channel began with Duty Free News International in 1996, followed by over a decade at The Moodie Davitt Report (then The Moodie Report) as Associate Editor in 2003, rising to Executive Director – Editorial in 2013.
She began her journalism career at Nicholas Hall & Company and has held senior press officer/communications roles in both the public and private sector.
Following her transition from full-time journalism, Mann has worked as a freelance copywriter, account manager and content producer, supporting clients across both B2B and B2C industries.
In her new position at Essential Communications, she will take a central role in account leadership, content strategy and business development.
