UK. Estée Lauder has created a new version of its Perfectionist anti-ageing treatment.
Perfectionist [CP+] with Poly-Collagen Peptides Correcting Serum for Lines/Wrinkles/Age Spots is launching now in Anglo markets. The international roll-out is scheduled for this October.
The original Perfectionist, launched in 2003, enjoyed global success within the repair category. Now Lauder is hoping to take this one step further with an updated version, said to combine speed of delivery with new, cutting-edge technology.
Perfectionist [CP+] is claimed to immediately reduce the look of lines and wrinkles by 36%. In clinical studies, after four weeks, users reported a 55% reduction in the appearance of lines and wrinkles; a 53% improvement in evenness of skin tone; and a 54% increase in skin clarity, according to Lauder.
“With Perfectionist [CP+] with Poly-Collagen Peptides we set out to develop a product that stretches the boundaries of cosmetic science to its very limits, providing not only immediate but longer lasting results,” commented Estée Lauder Global Vice President of Research and Development Dr Daniel Maes. “I think the studies prove that we have succeeded.”
In other news, Lauder has created a new make-up set, the Amber Bronze Sun Bronze To Go Palette. It is being launched this month in travel retail worldwide, with the exception of Asia Pacific.
The palette, which builds on the success of the company’s Amber Bronze products, is said to be ideal for the travelling consumer who needs the essential bronzing items in a portable format.
The set features Amber Bronze Bronzing Powder in Sun Bronze; Amber Bronze Liquid Bronzer in Sun Bronze; Amber Bronze LipTint in Caramel and Sun Pearl; and a lip applicator and powder brush.
The items are presented in a stylish, leatherette kit, which features a large mirror for ease of application and a magnetic closure to help prevent spillages.
