FAB Awards: Airport Coffee or Tea Shop of the Year finalists revealed

SPAIN. The 2025 Airport Food and Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Conference & Awards is now just 20 days away. Today The Moodie Davitt Report proudly reveals the finalists in a perennially popular category – FAB Airport Coffee or Tea Shop of the Year.

The 2025 Award winners will be revealed at the FAB 2025 Gala Dinner in Barcelona on 26 June.

There are 23 categories in this year’s FAB Awards, which attracted a record-breaking number of entries. There will also be additional special judges’ awards.

Commenting on the latest shortlist, The Moodie Davitt Report Chairman and Founder of the FAB Awards Martin Moodie said: “Coffee shops are pivotal to every airport’s F&B offer while specialist tea outlets also play an important role in many locations.

“Unsurprisingly then, the category attracted a huge number of entries. However, the judges made it clear in their rigorous scoring to reach a shortlist that they were looking for offers and environments that stood out from a very large pack.

“Some outstanding examples from all regions, including a particularly encouraging representation from the fast-emerging Kingdom of Saudi Arabia market, did precisely that. The extreme closeness of the ultimate scoring underlines how the quality bar has been consistently raised around the airport world.”

The remaining category finalists will be announced this week.   ‍
