Ferrero Travel Market is extending key Kinder innovations that first entered the channel through exclusive partnerships. These include Kinder Crunchy Cookies, which debuted with Avolta, and Kinder Crispy, initially launched with Gebr. Heinemann.
Kinder Crunchy Cookies scales up the company’s ‘La Biscotteria’ concept. It combines the creamy, smooth taste of Kinder milk and white chocolate and biscuit crunch. It comes in a 136g format with dedicated packaging developed exclusively for travel retail.
Kinder Crispy features layers of creamy milk filling, cocoa and hazelnut filling, crispy wafer, milk chocolate and biscuit crumbs.
Both products are now moving into expanded global travel retail distribution.
In addition, Ferrero has launched a digital Kinder game designed to engage travellers in-store and beyond the point of purchase. It is also developing its sugar-free offer through a new Tic Tac TWO flavour.

Ferrero Travel Market is also underlining its sustainability commitments. The company has achieved 98% traceability for cocoa; 98.6% traceability to plantation for palm oil; and 97% traceability to farmer for hazelnuts.
99% of cocoa volumes are now sourced through certifications or other independently managed standards such as Rainforest Alliance, Cocoa Horizons and Fairtrade; and 100% of palm oil volumes are Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil-certified.
92.9% of packaging is now designed to be recyclable, reusable and compostable. The redesign of the signature Ferrero Rocher boxes contributed to a reduction of 16,000 tonnes of plastic cumulatively since September 2021, the company said.
Ferrero Travel Market General Manager Sergio Salvagno commented, “The TFWA World Exhibition provides an important opportunity to connect with our partners from around the world and showcase how Ferrero continues to evolve its portfolio for travel retail.
“This year’s innovations build on our commitment to delivering distinctive products, engaging shopper experiences and meaningful brand activations across our global portfolio.”
Salvagno added: “By combining product innovation, digital engagement and category expansion, we continue to create value for our retail partners, while offering travellers exciting reasons to discover and enjoy our brands. We also remain committed to embedding sustainability across our business and look forward to sharing further developments during the exhibition.”
Ferrero Travel Market will present the latest developments at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, where it will exhibit at Bay 11, Bay Village. ✈
