FRANCE. Cosmopolitan Cosmetics is poised to launch the fourth twin fragrance line from international fashion house Mexx. Mexx Pure Life will be available from July.
The fragrances are aimed at men and women aged 20 to 40. Their positioning focuses on enjoying the simple things in life; optimism; and a positive attitude.
Mexx Pure Life Man is a fougère fragrance, which features notes of ginger, coriander, rosemary and sandalwood. Mexx Pure Life Woman is a fruity floral, and includes notes of blackcurrant, jasmine and musk.
The masculine line comprises 50ml and 75ml edt sprays; 50ml and 75ml aftershaves; a 200ml body & hair shower gel; and stick and spray deodorants. The feminine line-up features a 40ml edp spray; 40ml and 60ml edt sprays; a 200ml shower milk; a 200ml body lotion and two deodorant references. The recommended domestic price points range from €12 to €27.
The fragrances are presented in matching glass flacons. The outer cartons are coloured metallic turquoise (Mexx Pure Life Woman) and matt silver (Mexx Pure Life Man).
In related news, Cosmopolitan Cosmetics is rolling out its new twin fragrance from Puma, called Puma Flowing. Puma Flowing Woman – presented in a pink carton – is available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml edts. The ancillaries include deodorants, a shower gel and a body lotion. Puma Flowing Man, packaged in blue, features 30ml, 50ml and 100ml edts, 50ml and 100ml aftershaves, three deo references and a 200ml shower gel. The recommended domestic price points range from €6.50 to €24.
